Changing film rolls on the GBC Velocity laminator is quick and tool-free:

1. Open the front and rear covers of the machine.
2. Then lift the two arms above the film rolls and lift the upper rollers using the red lever.
3. Remove the empty rolls from their holders
4. Insert the new film rolls with the fused ends facing the front of the machine
5. Feed the film over the top of the lowest orange roller and underneath the plastic guide behind the trimming blade so it is heading towards the exit. You only need to feed around ¼ to ½ inch of film into this area and ensure there is no slack in the film rolls. If you notice any significant slack just gently turn one or both of the film rolls to take up the slack depending on if the slack is at the top or the bottom.
6. Close the arms down until they click into place as well as pushing the top rollers back down before closing the rear and front covers in reverse order.
7. Switch the machine back on and once warmed up to the selected temperature setting you can begin to laminate.
8. Please ensure the end caps of the film rolls match the colour of the LED on the user interface to ensure the best results. You can use the film thickness button on the user interface to change the temperature setting.
