GBC was incorporated in 1947. Since then, GBC has grown to become a listed
multinational company manufacturing and marketing a diverse line of Office,
Educational and Reprographic products worldwide with revenues of c.$700 Million.
GBC maintains its Corporate headquarters in Northbrook, Chicago, USA and has
significant manufacturing sites in the US, Europe and Asia.
GBC started activities in Europe in the late 40’s and early 50’s and presently
distributes through its 8 wholly-owned affiliates with its Headquarters in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England.
The European division has the geographical responsibility for an area that
stretches from Oporto in the West to Vladivostok in the East and Reykjavik
in the North to Cape Town in the South.
Utilising three business groups, each European affiliate serves the highly
distinctive yet variable distribution channels that serve the diverse consumers
in each country:
- Office Product Distributors
- Corporate & Reprographic Users
- International Distributors & Partners
Each local Business Group is supported by centralised Marketing, Logistics,
Finance, MIS and Technical Groups that ensure product development, quality
and service exceed our customers’ expectations and standards. GBC Europe thinks
